Farewell
Champion of the champions...
The best of the best...
A Blessed Goodbye BSE-1B, 1st Sem., S/Y 2015-2016...
Aiming for the apex of victory is incomplete if only yourself have treasured such kind of moments. In our section, BSE-1B, we disregards selfishness and greatly promotes unity and camaraderie for aiming a complete success for complete happiness of every individual. That's BSE-1B, silent at the first instant but at the end, roars like a lion bringing the spirit of complete success.
It was a very bright and sunny morning of June 22, 2015 that marked the end and the beginning. It was the end of my very long summer vacation and the beginning of challenging college life at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture. In the whole week of the month of June, I and my classmates started the what we call 'getting to know each other' stage. Then, time came that we formed circle of friends, compose of I(Eric), Ate Maye, Joshua, Blessie, Ceejay, Janine, Nestor, Jenri and Carmela. We didn't know how we became so much closer to one another, but what I surely knew was, we shared the same characteristics or behavior, being noisy and naughty.
Halfway of the first semester, our friendships went so much deeper, we love each other as friends. Everyone of us is witness of one's own strengths and weaknesses, had helped each other's conflicts on study and financial problems. All those things strengthened our bonding as friends, and created a boundless comfort with them. They made my first journey in college lively, full of happy memories that deserves reminiscence.
My college life turns livelier when we worked for our cheerdance presentation. We made a numerous trials in rehearsals for perfection. We surpassed disharmony within the group due to disagreement with time and lack of consideration. Even the measurement of loyalty to our group had been a sensitive issue arose. Despite of these obstacles and mazes, still, we stood out and had been declared as the champion of cheerdance competition during the CBSUA Charter Anniversary. How great to receive such kind of award, out of 54 competing sections, we did such a great job! This achievement tightened our brotherhood and sisterhood.
Aside from such recognition, another milestone had uncovered and stepped by BSE-1B as we performed our Speech Choir and bagged award as Second Place as part of the Culminating Activity in English with a theme, "Celebrating Language through Rhetoric." In addition, I got 1st place in Essay Writing Contest while Nestor Villanueva also got 1st place in Extemporaneous Speaking. Thanks God for such a wonderful blessing that you'd given to our section. However, our championship in cheerdance and second best in speech choir were not only just the source of our happiness but also the source of our sadness because 1st Sem. came to its end, which means, we're not able to have each other at least eight hours and some of our classmates will transfer to other university/college.
Even if we can't constantly have each other for a long time, or we haven't time machine to bring ourselves into the yesterday's situations, what we have are pictures of the past, cherishing the moments that we had each other and retrospect everything about our section, BSE-1B which stands for BSE-no.1Best.
Farewell to all of you, guys!(magkikita pa rin naman tayo!)
